I have a few of the '64 G'wood results sheets from when I had 'Pandora' - Whitsun trophy meeting and a few others, but I'm not at home at the moment to see what I have that didn't go with the car. If you are missing any info let me know and I'll see what I have.

Do you have more F3 results for '65?

I'm also trying to get Clubmans entry lists for '65/66 to get info on my car the Coldwell Mink.

I know it ran at Mallory Park on the 2nd of july '65 as a Clubmans / Sportscar and then at Oulton Park on 17th July in an F3 / Libre race, but I believe it made it's debut at Oulton in F3 but don't have a date. JL Houghton was the driver.

Any more info gratfully recieved

Oh, and the car is still for sale....

If you want FULL information on Goodwood ie entry list, dnas, grids and results for EVERY Goodwood race buy Robert Barker's book "A Record of Motor Racing at Goodwood" newly reissued. Avaiable at Chaters or from publishers.www.formulaoneregister.com

No official records, but "Life at Team Lotus" shows BJH 417B, but I recollect the '64 cars were BTW series, e.g. BTW 297B.......

Team Lotus 64 cars were BJH417, 418, 419B.
BTW297B was Alan Mann 64 car (white/greenstripe, not red)

Jim Clark's car was BJH417B, Andre Baldet's car was 758FNV and John Nicholson's was probably "1JON".

I remember the day well - I was spannering Chris Moore's beautiful F3 Lola and Mike Butterfield's "Shark Nose" F3 Merlyn; the latter was a little tired in the Hardy-Spicer department, and as the drive shafts were the top link in the rear suspension, they were pretty crucial as regards lateral location. As the scrutineer grabbed the top of the LH wheel to check for play, I sat my 15 stone upon the right and used my prop forward's legs to push back as hard as I could, in this way we passed scrutineering!

Practice had been the day before, and was one of those seemingly overcast days on which it was possible to get serious sunburn without realising it, it seemingly missed not an inch of my back. Chris, when back in London averred that what I required was copious amounts of cream, he rooted around, found a tube, slapped cream on my back and departed for somewhere near Harlow. I spent the night in agony, convinced that the devil himself had lit a bonfire on my back. The following morning, after retrieving my fingernails from the claw marks in the wall, I noticed the tube of emollient, except that it wasn't; it was a tube of "Deep Heat". a preparation for the deep treatment of rheumatics!
