FIA Press Release 22/09/2000

MS today went from a few laps shakedown on the new INDY road course with the F1-2000B. Due to massive changes to the F1-2000 (version B) Ferrari are to be disqualified from the USGP and maybe from the rest of the season following a investigation. Ferrari clearly have broken many rules including the four wheel rule (Article 2.4.6), 3000cc engine (1.5.2) and exceeding the .95m height maximum (1.5.3). Due to these changes Ferrari will be DQ. Ferrari have the right to appeal.



Holy sh!t, what the hell is Ferrari thinking. Man they must be desperate. Hell look at the safe changes, i guess a helmet, causes to much drag.
