Seeing Graham's fine picture that's no longer necessary now, I believe...

Michael: I made the same error, which was discussed earlier in this thread. If you read back, you'll see that it was an easy mistake: there was only ever one Tecno on track, and only on Saturday. The Galli car didn't run at all. Other TNFers also missed it coming in on Friday so it was probably late in on Saturday - and probably early out as well.

To be honest I would prefer to see shots of these cars being driven at speed - not a moving display

Did anyone take any pics of the motorcycles?

The Moto Guzzi V twin 500 was a jewel - and real!

At speed...

Sorry, I skipped the bikes. They looked great and made fantastic noise but the riders looked rather silly with their compulsory red jackets over their leathers... Why was that?

My question was rhetorical, Barry... ;)

But all the same - what health and what safety? Were they expecting oncoming traffic?

Superb photos, thank you for posting! My favourite has to be Jack's gorgeous BT33, love the colour, such evocative memories of the 1970 season with Rindt.

Not a good photo but I believe Rosina is the second car in line, blue helmet,#46:

There are better photos of this and others here:

http://www.acm.mc/

And as the program says..."and the lone rear engined car, a Moretti-Branca, driven by Stefano Rosina, and which has spent most of its life in France. Aquilino Branca himself, the constructor, competed in the very first ever FJ race at Monza and even now runs and mechanics a team of '63 Branca's in FIA Lurani Trophy races; another living legend..."

This page, including my photo, which I made as small as possible, doesn't seem to be fully downloading. What's up?

Your wish, as they say......

Only thing is, this front-engined car has the engine in a funny place! Unless, of course, it was going backwards. :)

Bizzare that riders had to wear a red jacket during a demo - I can't recall seeing Casey Stoner wearing one during a Moto GP round, or John McGuiness during the TT when, I suspect, they were travelling at considerably greater speed than the Monaco demo.
Has the whole world really gone completely mad, and am I the only sane inhabitant left?
