I remember them too - my grandfather used to send the book to me every year. A quick check on Abesbooks shows the earliest as 1933 and the latest as 1968 with a 75 years special "Wheels, wings and water" in 1974. If nothing else the Achievements books taught me that there is a tremendous variety of racing around the world.Originally posted by Paul Rochdale
Sorry to highjack this thread but in my youth I used to visit the Motocycle Show in London in some years and collect the Castrol Books of Achievements, superb little booklets showing the racing drivers and riders who were sponsored by them. I wonder when they stopped producing them?
