Let's not let F1 have all the fun. Let's share our favourite sports cars, GTs and prototype racers.
My personal favourite is the Lola-Aston Martin B09/60, in Gulf livery naturally.
What's yours?

Still my favourite GT1

Although I am not a Porsche admirer in the slightest, I really did think the 2016 iteration of the 919 Hybrid was a stunner.

Probably not the most popular choice but I always liked the Peugeot 905 in its many versions.

Again, just because the correct answer has to be on the 1st page of the thread....

One or two pictures would have sufficed, dude.

And a couple of exquisite Jags:
Although, extending it into GTs, I would give a shoutout to the Iso/Bizzarrini family.
(And a gratuitous shot of the lost knight...)

Whatever it is, I think we have a winner.

I've always had a soft spot for the RS Spyder (in Penske colours) and the Acura ARX-01. LMP2 cars from the glory days of ALMS were beautiful.

The Silk Cut Jags were always my favorites at the time, but the reality is that ALL OF THEM from about 1970 until the hybrid era were stunning...
no ugly cars in a 40 year span, LOL...

This duel purpose racer could both drive on the track and fly in the sky. Don't believe me?! Check out the video at the bottom.

I never liked any of the Spider era LMP cars (like the Porsche LMP2, or Audi R8 etc). Much preferred the coupes. The Lola-Aston was a recent high point.

Yes, but unfortunately none of their drivers were pilots, I'm sure they would have nailed the landings otherwise.

Curious that both the beautiful F1 car and beautiful sports car thread seem to heavily feature late 80s and early 90s vehicles. I wonder if it's an average age thing.
I always liked these, before they had to have two roll hoop thingies.

1999 was a pretty special year for The 24hrs of Le Man. It had a heap of manufacturers in attendance in the top class with LMP/LMGTP cars:
BMW
Audi
Mercedes
Toyota
Nissan

I think we have a 80s/90s bias here.
agreed.. because they were awesome, LOL...

For me:
- the berlinetta bersion of the 1967 Ferrari 330P4
- The 1970 Psychodelic Longtail version of the Porsche 917
- The Martini version of the 1971 Longtail version of the Porsche 917.
- The 2001-2003 Bentleys.

Most people seem to go all weak in the knees for the 330 p3, but for me the 312P was always far better looking.

I saw the 917K race in 1970 at Spa, it was amazing, but not beautiful! The prettiest cars were usually the Alpine Le Mans specials in the mid to late '60s.
