According to my NATIONAL SPEED SPORT NEWS Sylvester Stallone has announced that he will make a CART-themed motion picture to come out in 01. Formula 1 was obviously his first choice but he said Bernie Ecclestone "has his own agenda and cares not one whit about movies." The storyline will be about a young driver coached by an aging veteran (Stallone). A title search is on for the youth and Sly admitted he has spoken with Leonardi Di Caprio about the role.

The latest quote I saw from Bernie Ecclestone, in the last couple of days, is that he didn't like the script. Apparently he thought it would not be a positive vehicle for F1.
