Including those boxes for FIA communications. We all now will have access to exact wording of FIA decisions etc. I am excited about that!
So, those of you who have never been at Media centre of formula one, it seems you are going to get really good and full service.
I am happy. For once to FIA.

There are four names but there are three stewards for the race.Originally posted by undersquare
Excellent.
So I see there are four stewards, among them Thatthi and Novak.
From among holders of an FIA Super Licence the following officials will be nominated by the FIA :
- Three stewards one of whom will be permanent and appointed the non-voting chairman ;
- A race director ;
- A permanent starter.
FIA can also nominate stewards advisor, so maybe this could be one of them.
Anyhow, Novak is idiot. He has no bloody clue about racing. He is the man stating McLaren might be behind Max Mosley's scandal (I am not saying he is not right ;) ) but he really has no bloody clue about motorsport. He penalised Montoya after Schumacher clash in Malaysia but he is one of Max supporters, blind to every happening around him, the true arselicker....

I found this bit quite interesting.
The following software versions have been used by the teams during the qualifying sessions:
Car numbers Team Version
1, 2 : Vodafone McLaren Mercedes 1.00.053
3, 4 : Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro 1.00.051
5, 6 : BMW Sauber F1 Team 1.00.052
7, 8 : ING Renault F1 Team 1.00.052
9, 10 : Panasonic Toyota Racing 1.00.052
11, 12 : Scuderia Toro Rosso 1.00.050
14, 15 : Red Bull Racing 1.00.050
16, 17 : AT & T Williams 1.00.052
20, 21 : Force India F1 Team 1.00.052
22, 23 : Brawn GP Formula One Team 1.00.052
I assume it refers to the SECU. Didn't realise that the teams were allowed to chose whether or not they wanted to run the latest version.

Can anyone find this for 2009 ?
They have updated the "Media centre" bit with the Malasian GP info, and I can't find the Austrailian 2009 info that was there on Monday.....

So they lock the event info away before publishing the stewards report. So open.

This is actually worse than last year, because while they were hidden, you could still access the times from any race.

Yes, thats the approved version of the SECU software each team is using. The teams are only allowed to use one of 4 approved versions of the software, at present. The teams have access to all versions.

Are the various versions their own mods of it? I seem to remember plans for teams to be able to modify the software to some extent, from before ECU was introduced... or am I mixing things up?

First post on this forum, does anyone have the PDFs that were released after the Australian GP. Seems that the FIA website has moved onto Malaysia and I missed the chance to download all the files.
Thanks in advance.

It looks to be in the 'archive' section, which requires a password.
Direct links still work. (penalties here)
Timing here, but F1 Matrix is far better for that.
Welcome

No, when the software is revised or modified then all the teams have access to that new version.

don't know if is of much help but hereit is:
http://forums.autosp...w...6076&hl=pdf
or alternative, have a look at the format of the filename.
ita09_race_classification.pdf
ita09_session2_classification.pdf
ita09_qualifying_classification.pdf
ita09_race_laps.pdf
ita09_media_kit_en.pdf
etc..
replace 'ita' for 'sin', search the new filename in google. don't click the link but use the 'view' in google to see the google's cache and you get:

I think:The media centre has changed, does anyone knows where it's all the stuff located?
- go to FIA.com
- click on 'enter official site'
- in 'championships' click 'F1'
- in the down right part there is 'season 2013' and there you can click on the 'Australian GP'
The preview and the circuit map is already there. What I don't know is why they don't have the 'event information' button yet. If you go from there to 'archives' and click the 2012 Brazilian GP you will see there is the 'event information' button where all the timing information should be. I hope they keep on having that information also in 2013. We'll know in just a couple of days.
