Last night I posted a plug for this forum on the the Big Board (otherwise known as the Reader's Comments Forum). This was in response to the large number of new members that have joined Atlas F1 since the start of the current F1 season. While most are perfectly happy - as they should be! - with the Reader's Comments Forum (it is after all, The Best forum of its type, Period), there are probably some who would enjoy our forum. And since there are those who probably aren't aware of our hangout, I decided to do a bit of soliciting.

I do see topics pop up there from time to time that might be better suited for here. I hope that we gain a few new hardy souls to add to our numbers here. After all, an implied mission of this Forum is education: providing a means to find out about how it all got here...

Later!

Hey, Don, are you getting commission on the number of hits on the Nostalgia Forum? We don't want to attract the wrong type of people, you know! ;)

Remember the old motto for Brooklands in the 20s and 30s - "The right crowd and no crowding"

But seriously, folks, y'all come on over to the Nostalgia Forum anytime, y'all be mighty welcome!!!

BRG,
How about Basil Faulty's motto?
"No rifraf"

------------------
"Hugo, have you ever tried Ouzzo?"
"Madame I have tried everything."
"Well last night I had Ouzzo with some Greeks. Allot of Ouzzo."
"And what was you husband doing when all this Greek and Ouzzo business was going on?"
"The same thing he's always doing the night before a race; trying to sleep."

I fully support the concept of "the right crowd & no crowding" but the only way to get the right crowd is to, well, find the right crowd...

Also, many of the newer members probably don't we even exist. Not many will be that interested, but even if we only get a few new members, that is worth the effort. Not everyone trives on confrontation...

Can't wait to get the net at work so I can afford the time I spend on this forum. It's getting hard to keep right up with it lately, so we're apparently doing a good job.

Ray,
Spending time on this forum during working hours is the only way to fly.

Actually, I've been getting dirty looks and nasty comments from the Gen Mgr...
Good thing I'm the Managing Director! It'll all be much better when we have our network running and I can do this in my office!

Ray,
It beats actually working.
