Am researching some of the background to RD Poore, who campaigned his Alfa 8C35 in hillclimbssprints in the 40s50s .. am looking for paddock shots of him, his car and especially his old Dodge transportertrailer setup .. has anyone got any dusty old photos of him they'd be willing to copy for me??? He also campaigned sportcars (eg DB3S) and the occasional Connaught GP car.

dennis poore was highly involved in Vanwall, Norton, manganese Bronze and the Norton motorcycle.
i also had a feeling he was something to do with Listers.

ahh hadnt heard of this one. Someone somewhere must have a paddock pic of him somewhere! I tracked down the surviving 2 team mechanices who told me plenty of stories .. all i need now is a contemporary pic of the transporter "in use" ... one day!
