Wasn't that overplayed? I asked the same question earlier and I think the answer was there wouldn't really be a problem. (Getting a dispensation for attending a sports event going over a long-weekend)

In addition to that, next year it's one and a half year since that incident.

So if he is signed up with Force India, who will take his place in the races where he is banned from entering the countries in?

Link in one post above ---> Google translate

When Sutil there are still some question marks because of Gräfelfinger has a criminal record after the glass affair in Shanghai. The pilot does not expect restrictions. Experts fear, however, that there could be difficulties with entering China, in the U.S. and especially Canada. In an emergency reserve driver Jules Bianchi would probably would get a chance.

It's not that clear that there are countries where he can't go in. Most countries who deny automatic visas to people with criminal records have alternative longer bureaucratic possibilities for those cases.
AMuS reports the countries were some problems might arise are China, the US and Canada, with Canada being the one that could be most difficult to deal with, which doesn't mean he wouldn't become the visa at the end. The same article says Bianchi would be the one to jump into the car if the case happened.

EDIT: Anderis is faster than me :)

Thanks you two :)

I got a feeling Jaime Alguersuari will be a reserve driver now since the Sutil rumours are getting stronger.

Di Resta and Sutil again at Force India? Not really inspiring.

Unless Di Resta really is just hanging by his fingertips then, and it ends with him being out...

Di Resta was a rookie in 2011. This could be a better chance to compare them.

He'll still lose out.

For me either Adrian Sutil or Jaime Algorithm are very good options. Sutil has the killer instinct, a driver that knows how to be at the cutting edge...

The visas won´t be a problem. Sutil would just need to apply early and accept a longer bureaucratic process, but in the end he will get them, as he can surely explain why he needs to be in the country and that he has no intention on doing something criminal during his stay.

Worth noting the background image of Singapore (?) as well as the orange fonts. "Follow me very soon" is also pretty telling.

Well the other day he tweeted a photo with a guy wearing a Lotus shirt. He's such a teaser.
