Lewis Hamilton will have a special companion accompanying the Briton at Grands Prix this season after his pet dog was approved for a paddock pass.
The Mercedes driver had sought a Formula 1 pass for his “new best buddy”, a bulldog named Roscoe which already has his own passport, a request that has now been approved by F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone.
"Bernie was kind enough to allow him to have one," Hamilton was quoted saying by ESPN F1. "I've just got to get a picture of him (for the pass)."
As a Dog lover and owner of two Golden Retrievers, I don't agree that a dog should be that close to extreme noise levels that is produced by F1 cars. I hope this is a joke if not Bernie Ecclestone should reconsider his decision.
