And the black nose-tip at the 2005 Bahrain GP to commemorate Pope John Paul II's death.
And while we're at it, the blue NART Ferrari in 1964, when Enzo fell out with the Italian motorsport authority.

Wasn't a one-off. They ran those colours in Japan and Australia.

This is a stretch, but I consider this his greatest win:

Red Bull had a one-off Stars wars livery for Monaco 2005.

And for Superman:
Showing a model, for it shows the colours better than the other pictures I can find.
And, some pre-season liveries (sort of one-off, right?)
And if the Lola qualifies for one-off, so should the 1999 Honda, which never raced:
And the 1996 Dome (which never raced)
1994-1995 DAMS

And I don't think this was ever applied to a car, but this was the first sketch for Red Bull's F1 livery:
Which of course could also be said about Merc:

I still think it's a shame they weren't allowed to do that. It's not like anyone was going to get confused.

They did run that livery in testing in early 2005.

Arrows, British Grand Prix 1983
Arrows had a lot of one-off liveries in 1983, they seemed to be doing deals with sponsors on a race-by-race basis. GPI for Britain, an Italian company in Italy and so on. Boutsen for his debut at Belgium had a VW Campervan's worth of stickers all over. About the only repeat livery they had was the virginal white at the start of the season...

Ah, you're right.

The most hideous and one of the best looking liveries in memory.

I think the French Grand Prix was the only race where Williams used the "?" rather than the "Ro?" livery.

It's got a great claim to ugliest F1 car ever.

Red Bull is clearly winning the ugliest livery contest.

Not sure if it was a one off but at least at the Spanish GP that year the rear wing had a white "Rothmans" on a blue background, rather than the usual blue on white.

David Coulthard in particular. It was his year for something, at least.

Ferrari ran a yellow 156 for Olivier Gendebien at Spa in 1961:
Only one-off I can think of that hasn't been posted, other than various tobacco switcheroos like Bitten Heroes and Be On Edge.
Posted 25 October 2013 - 19:35
There are some others; the Rob Walker Ferrari for Innes Ireland with the stripe down the middle, the Lowenbrau McLarens (a couple of different interpretations - and the all blue one was very smart), the March team in 1976 often had a race-by-race sponsor for Peterson's car &c.

It was like that at Monaco as well. I thought it looked better than the usual colour combination.

Not sure if puke-green primer counts as a "livery", but if it does, then Jackie Stewart's Matra sported a one-off livery at Kyalami in 1968.

Didn't realise that was the reason it was running in green. You learn something new every day.

In 1971, fearing legal action over Jochen Rindt's death the previous year, Colin Chapman entered only one car for the Italian Grand Prix (the unloved Lotus 56B gas turbine) and did so as "World Wide Racing" not Gold Leaf Team Lotus. The car ran without sponsorship logos in a gold and black livery and Emerson Fittipaldi wore plain white overalls:
