SPOILERS: I have the script for the race

 

Logano dominates, Harvick charges to the front after the final pit stop. After some bumping be, ween the two, Logano blatantly wrecks Harvick. Tony Stewart wrecks Logano. Jeff Gordon wins the race, Denny Hamlin sneaks the championship with a Top-5. Newman is a non-factor during the race.

 

After the race, Nascar sets up a Tag-Team fight between Harvick and Stewart against Logano and Keselowski.

I thought the point of the new system was that you had to win races to be in with a shout.

I expect either Hamlin or Harvick winning the title.  I do not think Logano or Newman will stand up to the pressure today.

Well 3 of the 4 got into the Chase at all with wins. And it wasn't until the third round of eliminations that we had non-Chase drivers win anything.

Gotta say, if i'd come on here via the traditional route, and hadnt checked this morning what time the race was, i'd have come on here and probably seen the other thread, and been both furious (at missing it and seeing the result) and delirious (seeing the result) at the same time
