That's a guess, not a fact.
Failed suspension, water leak, failed gearbox - all within a week. Quite clear what Merc wants to happen
Oh dear.

Well done Lewis

I said a few weeks ago that the gap between Lewis and Nico has gotten bigger than ever before. Even 2015.
Without all the gremlins early in the year, I think Lewis would have a convincing lead in the championship by now.

The engine mode and identification of problem ok. Clarification is coaching.
I personally don't think it should be a penalty but the FIA needs to be consistent like for Kimi and Lewis in Baku.

Well done, Nico! I was really impressed with the way he hung on to make that pass - he could have avoided it by driving a bit faster in the wet, but he drove a great race to recover second (aided somewhat by Max's mistakes).
And as for Lewis, what can you say? Had the race under control. Did was you expected him to do.

No.

That's 20 points made up in 2 races, and almost 40 points in 5 races. Lewis did nothing wrong today, kept himself in clean air and made few errors. That qualifying lap in the clutch yesterday clearly paid off. A win in Hungry, which happens to be one of his best tracks, would give him the WDC for sure. We'll see if Nico gets a penalty for today, but regardless, every shred of momentum is in Lewis's court. On days like this, you can forget about the upcoming grid penalties.
Surely, Lewis will be hungry in Hungary...

We slacked a bit on the 4000 limit but things get lost in large threads. Part III here.
