Best Driver: Verstappen/Rosberg/Alonso
Worst Driver: Vettel, close 2nd for Grosjean. His attitude towards the team is very poor.
Best Team: Red Bull
Best Overtake: Verstappen on Button in L1 with a oversteer pass.
Best Moment: shoes for everyone!
DRS + Tyres: pretty uneventful, I like it that way. DRS should be scrapped though.
And the race in a sentence: hot, damn hot.

Worst Driver: Vettel
Best Team: Red Bull
Best Overtake: Rosberg on Raikkonen was gutsy
Best Moment: Ricciardo vs Verstappen battle
DRS + Tyres: I guess it was fine
And the race in a sentence: surprisingly good race, shame for Hamilton, but on the other hand love to see mad Hamilton fans on this forum

I'm commander Shepard and this is by favorite spot on the race track.

Best Driver: Jolyan Palmer (finally making the points in an awful handling Renault all season)
Worst Driver: Mercedes (strictly because their results were poor, only a 3rd place and a retirement, not their usual MO)
Best Team: Red Bull and they took the bull by the horns and turned it red today!
Best Overtake: none
Best Moment: Max vs. Daniel
DRS + Tyres: why is this even in this list? it make little sense.
And the race in a sentence: Average across the board, only thing of interest is the hope that Max could win another race!

Best Driver: Hamilton / Alonso
Worst Driver: Vettel, for his clumsy start
Best Team: Red Bull- good mix of strategy
Best Overtake: Max and Rosberg had quite a few- lots to pick from
Best Moment: Red Bull drivers fighting it out, although for most I suspect Hamilton's engine going pop lifted their spirits!
DRS + Tyres: First time DRS hasn't seemed comically over-powered at Malaysia. Tyres seemed to allow driver to push.

Gave it a 8

I liked this race from an neutral perspective as it brought back old memories. A track full (in relation to other tracks of course!) of punishing gravel traps and the leader retiring with an engine failure with a few laps to go. These are two elements which were missing in the last couple of years. Elements which are causing emotions thanks to unpredictable turnarounds: the latter (Hamiltons failure thanks to reliability) caused exactly this, even if it was from my personal perspective more negative   ;)

Also from the strategy perspective an interesting race. Some good and controversial moves too. I particulary liked the Red Bull battle which was slightly overshadowed by Hamiltons engine failure moments later.

I think Alonso was the driver of the day. Aided a bit by a McLaren that was looking very racey on this track. Best team: Red Bull. But McLaren made the best of what they had today. Best moment? What we saw was drama, but not what I would call 'best' moment. I don't like seeing cars touching, nor engines blowing up, not bits falling off. Though, that was what defined this race.

I'm sure that the best overtake was probably one of Alonso's that I didn't actually see. In the coverage, Alonso was behind Sainz. Then next time we see, Alonso was ahead of Sainz. A lot of the overtakes we saw, e.g. Nico's overtakes, were smooth and straightforward. Classy, but not exciting.

The race in a sentence: "Lewis does everything right, but then his engine blew up."

And the race in a sentence: Exciting race, Ricciardo finally gets a win which he thoroughly deserves for his season so far and it's good for F1 to have a Red Bull 1-2 result.

That's a bit of a cheat to use a comma spliced sentence as your 'race in a single sentence'. If you're going to do that, wouldn't it be better to be more honest and use a semicolon?

Best Driver: Verstappen (part 1), Ricciardo (part 2)
Worst Driver: Sebastian Vettel
Best Team: Red Bull
Best Overtake: Verstappen on Button, lap 1
Best Moment: Max and Dan going for it
DRS + Tyres: not too bad
And the race in a sentence: those who turned their TV off after 10 minutes were wrong, 8/10

Best Driver: Ricciardo
Worst Driver: Vettel
Best Team: Bulls
Best Overtake: Rosberg on Räikkönen was reckless but awesome. He deserved the penalty but made for entertainment and no-one got wiped out.
Best Moment: Bull fight
DRS + Tyres: meh
And the race in a sentence: Decent race. A leader's engine blowing reminded me of past times.

8/10

Best Driver: Plenty to choose from, but I'll give it to Alonso. Hopefully McLaren Honda give him a car worthy of his talents next season, so that we can see more of him on screen. One of the all time great F1 drivers, and we hardly get to see him these days.
Worst Driver: Vettel, a small mistake but with big consequences
Best Team: Red Bull, for the first non-Mercedes 1-2 of the hybrid era
Best Overtake: Quite a few good overtakes, but hard to think of a standout.
Best Moment: On track - the Red Bull battle. Off track - the shoey (CH, disappointed with your effort, you didn't fool anyone)
DRS + Tyres: should have made the medium, not the hard, the compulsory tyre. DRS was fine.
And the race in a sentence: Horrible luck for Hamilton, but a fine reward for Dan for outstanding driving all season.

Can't wait for Suzuka!

Best: Alonso

Worst: Vettel

Team: Mclaren

Overtake: Rosberg Matt Nealing Raikkonen was good. But let's go with Verstappen on Raikkonen, he was very switched on, reminded me of Schumi.

Best Moment: Red Bulls fighting.

DRS+Tyres: Ugg.

Race in two sentences: I'm by no means a Hamilton fan but I could feel the anguish in his engine failure. It was also another reminder that no team can live with Mercedes on performance.

worst driver : vettel
best team : red bull racing
best overtake : rosberg on räikkönen
best moment : red bull boys having a go at each other.
DRS + Tyres : -
and the race in a sentence : -

an 8.

... and can we please have a tv director who focuses on the racing, in stead of what's going on in the pits? sick and tired of those pit wall people.

Best Driver: Hamilton. Sue me.

Worst Driver: Vettel possibly.

Best Team: Red Bull?

Best not-quite-Overtake: Verstappen and Ricciardo

Best Moment: Nico, drink this. It'll be good...

DRS + Tyres: Still there, except for on Gutierrez' Haas.

And the race in a sentence: One of the better races this year, even if my driver didn't finish due to unreliability/ conspiracy between Mercedes and a vindictive Supreme Being. 7?

Good to see the continued resurgence of McLaren. Two WDCs who haven't been able to contribute to the spectacle over the last couple of years. I suspect next year could be a peach.

Alo, Ham and the Red Bulls were class acts today. Ros and Palmer too.

8/10.  I thought the first and last thirds of the race were eventful and dramatic, with the middle third fairly straightforward.

Best Driver:  I really can't see past Ricciardo, though Rosberg's recovery, Verstappen's overtaking and Alonso's 'outdriving the car' performances could all have taken the honours.
Worst Driver:  Vettel - after having criticised Kyvat and Verstappen for first-corner lunges this year, he had a worse one than either of the others.  I really don't rate him in a close battle; his strength is in front-running, IMO.
Best Team:   Red Bull, though I initially typed McLaren for their reliability on a day when others wilted and reasonable perforrmance as well.
Best Overtake:  Verstappen produced a good manoeuvre on Perez into turn 4 straight after the first VSC.
Best Moment:  Red Bull battle.  Hard but fair, with respect shown, which suggests that Verstappen is learning to temper his aggression after swerving dangerously in front of Raikkonen on the Kemmel straight at Spa.
DRS + Tyres:  DRS about right, tyres OK (and, as Ricciardo said on Channel 4, very little in the way of marbles, which helped his battle with his team mate).
And the race in a sentence:  It's Rosberg's to lose now.

Best Driver: Alonso/Verstappen (mainly because of the restart where he caught Kimi and Perez)
Worst Driver: Vettel, should of taken the blame for that.
Best Team: Red Bull.
Best Overtake: Verstappen on Perez.
Best Moment: Red Bull battle, good to see no teamorders and no contact as well.
DRS + Tyres: This race would be more interesting with super softs.
And the race in a sentence: Finally a decent race to watch and for Malaysia standards a good one.

Best Driver: Alonso. Shame on McLaren for not putting this guy at the sharp end of the grid.
Worst Driver: Vettel, though I'd rather see Ferrari do something spectacular than finish an anonymous 5th - this clearly wasn't the way to do it.
Best Team: Surprisingly; Red Bull! I like what they're doing with these strategies. It's crafty!
Best Overtake: Verstappen was wide awake at the VSC and nicely punished his snoozing competitors.
Best Moment: Ricciardo holding his position in a proper battle. Within the lines, too!
DRS + Tyres: Why not three or four or five DRS zones?! Meh. :stoned:
And the race in a sentence: The Red Bull battle was good, all the more so when it turned into a fight for the win.

Best Driver: Alonso & Verstappen, honorable mention for a good Rosberg for once....
Worst Driver: Vettel, Kvyat
Best Team: Red Bull
Best Overtake: Max on a Mclaren (Alonso or Button) the first lap, in my believe the move of this year so far in the F1 (out side in this corner with oversteer putting some black markers on the tarmac for 40mtrs)
Best Moment: Duel between Ricciardo and Max + The flames out of a Merc.
DRS + Tyres: Super Softs would be good for this track
And the race in a sentence: Good race, Ricciardo finally gets a win which he deserves in this season and love the Red Bull 1-2 result. Still would like to see Mclaren or Ferrari to be part of this game.

Best Driver: Rosberg, Palmer, Alonso
Worst Driver: Vettel - if he was a rookie, he'd be nicknamed 'first lap nutcase' or something after all the incidents this year.
Best Team: Red Bull. 1st non-Mercedes 1-2 of the hybrid era; says it all really.
Best Overtake: Verstappen on Raikkonen, but too many were DRS sanitised. Special mention to Rosberg on Raikkonen - that's what we want to see in F1, but the fact that he did damage Kimi's car a little bit loses the clinical finish point there.
Best Moment: Hamilton in smoke. Guiterrez missing a wheel. Felt like 90s F1 again for an all too brief moment!
DRS + Tyres: DRS is not needed here. Tyres were durable, kind of missed the Malaysia pitstop fest.
And the race in a sentence: 7/10. Good moments, but still way short of the final product we need in F1.
