So when did Lola switch from this:

To this:

Which Lola cars should correctly display which badge?

I've never seen the version on the circular badge so suspect it's very early, 1960s is my guess.

Beyond that, the logo itself seemed to lengthen in perspective as time went by.

I'd suggest contacting the Lola Heritage site.

There are contact details for Gerald Swan here

on the Lola Heritage site.

The site's archives look very interesting too (I didn't allow myself to "get lost" in them!!)

Not hard to do, James!

Neat to see my "big brother's" car listed for the T324. :-)

Contemporary photos of the Mk 4 F1 car from 1962 show it had the later badge:

I've not yet found a contemporary photo of the F Junior Mk 3 where the badge is clearly discernible. Several of the Mk 3s currently racing in historic events have the later badge. The Mk 2 appears to have used the earlier badge:

I'm concerned about the survival of the Lola Heritage site.

Plugging it here as often as we can can't hurt. Tim, please release your little winged buddy to spread the word. :-)
