Historic Racing at Mallala - but Vern Schuppan (one time Indy Car Rookie of the year?? is driving his Lago Talbot in my regularity group - I'll not be wearing the brown underwear for nothing!!!)

Yes, Vern was RotY in 1976 & came 3rd in the 1981 race (in a McLaren, Fernando....)
About time he made a comeback...

He chased me down in a canter in the Talbot and then had a pedal in Bill Heming's Elfin MR8, a car that he drove in the late seventies!!
