It's the little things in it that are startling. Like when he fitted the blades, it was the first time he had run for 4 years. Something that had never crossed my mind.

Billy Monger has lost his driving license for 7 weeks and has been fined 2964 pound for irresponsible driving after crashing a new Toyota Supra against a Volkswagen Lupo, Golf and a Citroën C car on 30 mile/hour road and ending up crashing through a low brick wall into a garden hedge.

Whilst I admire his tenacity and his charity work since his accident, this is really very stupid indeed. Being distracted by other things and endangering the public makes him no better than the likes of Alessio Deledda and Amaury Cordeel who've been caught doing reckless stuff on the road. He's seriously lucky he didn't harm himself or, more importantly, anyone else with his idiocy.
(I'm still very surprised Pecco Bagnaia appeared to get off scot-free with his drink driving the other year, that's another level of stupidity)

As Mark Webber posted on Instagram "F**cking legend… end of."
It's even made me donate money to him and I'm a tight Scotsman

Wow, only now seeing that car crash. What a dick - everyone makes mistakes though but that does look like a right mess.
On the flipside, what an inspirational bloke. Not just a triathlon record holder, but an ironman one. I'm a keen runner and cyclist, but I'd never even entertain entering one of those!

Monger was unsighted. He had no chance.

I don't think he's talking of that crash.

I imagine he has hand controls or something on his road car. As he seems to have lost control on his own, maybe this was a factor?
