Just a reminder that the start of the race is less than three hours away.

The formation lap is scheduled for 15:10 local time.
The start is scheduled for 15:30.

That's 13:30 UTC or 09:30 Indianapolis time.

Which is 10 and 30 minutes respectively from when an on-schedule Monaco qualifying should finish.

Looked like a misfire issue for the Manta. They were checking the spark plugs.

Gotta love it how everyone from fans to commentators and organizers are so pumped before the race and during the first couple of hours. The enthusiasm rubs off on you even from behind the screen.

Maybe that has to do with some of the pretty aggressive moves we've seen so far? The Land Audi just barely avoided contact before its pitstop. Chill!

Always a good sign when you have to tape down an antenna 1h15m into a 24h race.

SGC 704 is back in the garage, a lap round the GP track after the latest pit stop.

Edit, damage to the rear bodywork.

I was cutting some potatoes at that very moment, Felt a deep connection with the mechanics.

Edit: It was worth the risk, I feel.

Bergmeister bins it.

Karma for putting Magnussen in the wall at Laguna Seca, I believe.

Good TV luck, bad Porsche luck: Jorg Bergmeister just crashed the 44 Falken Porsche while the TV feed was on that car's onboard...

One of the drivers of the yellow Mercedes in the pits is currently in the German commentators' booth and found out through the TV feed that his car is in trouble.

He is normally a very solid driver.

BTW, that Laguna Seca incident was described by Magnussen as "racing". No hard feelings.

Crashing while racing round the Eifel mountains doesn't rhyme with Bergmeister :)

That would likely be the #47 HTP Mercedes. What kind of trouble are they in?

Müller not looking pleased with his Audi, he slammed the door after getting out of the car having parked itself in the barrier. And a close call for one of the Glickenhaus as the Audi did so.

The helo cameraman's response to Martin Haven's 'back up helicopter, back up'- comment. :D

That weather front looks a tad ominous and just like yesterday, the forecast is all over the place. No one knows what will happen.

Meanwhile the Vodafone overall guys have moved on from trolling spetators to trolling team personnel.

There are some small green blobs on the weather radar just to the west of the track on the 9:05 picture.

I love listening to the commentators trying to figure out the timing sheet.

"Has that car no just left the pit, Paul?"

followed by a heavy sigh

Seems like it will pass from the North. A number of much bigger blobs heading towards the track too, but those aren't even on Germany yet. I gather those are the ones predicted to ruin the race leader's day tomorrow at around noon.

I'd laugh myself to sleep if the wheel they helped with on that pit stop fell off on the out-lap.  :rotfl:

They actually let them 'help'? :p I only saw the guy who was waving the lollipop in front of cars coming into pits, which is a potential mild disaster in itself. Or maybe the teams were warned about this in the safety briefing.

The girl was cleaning the windscreen and one of the guys was putting on the rear left wheel and securing the net before closing the door.
