Incredible. The YouTube link is heart warming and he is still going strong.
I can remember thinking he was "getting on a bit" when he raced in SuperVee, although it didn't show on the circuit and then he went Formula Three!

I liked the fact that Ronnie Grant's F3 racing number was his age, 62 and then 63. While he was by no means a front runner, he belonged in the field and definitely wasn't disgraced.

I can remember him with his F3 Class B motor painted black with a gold TAXI logo. At least that time he had an excuse for not picking you up...

I met Ronnie at Zolder in 1982 when he was racing a FF2000 Delta which was transported on an old flatbed VW Transporter. We had a few chats that weekend which always ended with a laugh. Happy days
