Check that,it is a parody of movies,in general.

Nothing that insipid could be unintentional. We should hail Stallone for his subtle, comic genius.

Or am I missing something?

Yeah, you missed a simple fact - Sly Stallone is about as far from "subtle" and "genius" as a human being can get.

The best part of the evening for me was after the movie, watching EVERYONE try to rev the hell out of their little econoboxes flying out of the parking lot. I can just imagine the in-car conversation: "look, Im Jimmy blye!"

Movie sucked.
Racing scenes, mediocre. If you were planning on going just for racing on the big screen, it isnt really worth it.

I just saw the movie last night.....well well well. Can't say I was surprised by Mr. Stallone's little flic. One word comes to mind....cheesy. That about sums it up.

Sadly enough, I thought the coolest part of the movie was where Jean Alesi wished Joe "Rocky Balboa" Tonto good luck before the final race of the movie in "Detroit".

Another thing....why bother mixing footage of TOTALLY different tracks....I mean. I dunno, I know I'm being really picky here, but one minute they're in Detroit, the next minute flying through Turn 1 of what looks like Homestead..... GUH!

But I swear in the last race it looked like they were driving on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve....anyone else think so? I looked totally like the fast sweepers after the Senna hairpin in some scenes.....

Anyhoo....my 2 cents.....

From what I've been reading,I'm surprised Stallone didn't
have any Ben-Hur crap in the movie.I'm referring to when
one guy shreds the other guy's wheels with a spike
coming out of his axle.
I wonder how well Driven will do when it goes up against
Mummy Returns.
I have not seen a movie in a long time and was thinking
of seeing Driven.Forget it.
I would rather save my money and wait 'till the new
Planet of the Apes movie comes out.
