Hello and welcome to the 2nd race of the 36 race long 2018 Monster Energy Nascar Cup Series.
It's actually called the FOLDS OF HONOR QUICKTIP 500 but that's unintelligible as was the previous race. Speaking of the previous race; it's been a week since the last first race of the season and the hangover from that race is just beginning to subside. It was quite the bizarre sh**show of a 2018 Daytona 500 littered with absurd crashes that took out most of the real contenders, leading to a last lap GWC mayhem. It was Aric Almirola driving Danica's car who found himself in the lead of a dream debut for the Newman Haas team going into turn 3. But a halfassed block on the #3 of Austin Dillon sent ashamed Aric into the barriers and that damn Dillon boy got a halfdeserved incredulous Daytona 500 victory.
Loathsome
But I am willing to forgive and forget if I see more of this.
The magickal #3 just won at Daytona; bla bla, that Earnhardt legacy fallacy was hollow to me. Apparently Aric was ok with everything so let's move on shall we. Overall it was a particularly strange and overly aggressive start to the new season and as stated in the previous season, things should be at least 98% back to normal. That last 2% will depend if Denny Hamlin took his adderrall or not.
So cool.
So with that it's time for Nascar's annual visit to the Henry County Georgia's Atlanta Motor Speedway. There seems to be a place close to the track called Locust Grove. Now that is a small town name right there.
Actual cool.
Here's a helpful fun link for all y'all interested to know more about this part of the world.

Speaking of national parks, I often find myself reading and listening to strange unexplained disappearances that happen in such places. Please indulge me in this little youtube quirk:

Astrology facts:
The energy will change significantly this Sunday from the past 2 days. The weird mental unclarity will fade into a comfy Cancerian home vibe. It's a Pisces party atm so I recommend letting things go, try to be ok with the unanswered questions and allow things to adjust by themselves. Trust that all is good y'all. It looks like it'll be a soft and deeply emotional, even a bit traditional Sunday so try to take the edge of by doing the little things you like and make you feel at home. There's a tense square between Mars and Venus tonight so try not to be harsh and edgy with the loved ones. The Moon in Cancer is calling out to take a well earned time out. Speaking of Cancer, who's our fav Nascar crab?
this boy
We don't have Charlize Theron today so I just googled someone from Atlanta:
Have a great Sunday everyone and enjoy the race. As one famous Georgia born dude said:
