This is aimed primarily to Danish members (Scandinavian?) and/or other veterans.

While cleaning up my storage room, I ran into three commemmorative Ceramic Delft blue style square tiles, presented by Caltex to commemorate the K.D.A.K. Performance Test held in the years 1985, '59 and '60.

These tiles featured a drawing made by Dutch journalist/illustrator Jan Apetz. A colorful man who was a friend of me in his final years (he died in 1992) and was much of an inspiration for me. These tiles were given to me by his widow. They are very comical to see within his classical Apetz style of drawing.

Is there anybody within this forum who can tell me a bit more about these K.D.A.K. runs, what kind of events were they?

Thanks for time and attention,

Henri

Hmmm, KDAK closed in 1978 (or merged into FDM (United Danish Motor owners). Sure you mean 1985?
