All Formula 2 drivers of whom very little is known about;

Veitch was from Edinburgh and famous for the Osclyat Special, often racing at Bo'Ness.

Cole is sometimes shown as residing from Oakham, Leicestershire

Craven was a race winner in Formula 3, but know very little biographically.

 

Can anyone shed much more light on the chaps personally? I seem to have covered a fair chunk of Craven's career but could so with a bit of biographical detail; Cole I know the link to Mo Gomm but that's about it and Veitch... nothing lately.

I have often seen letters or replies to articles in magazines like Motor Sport et al, invariably correcting items, penned by David Cole from that area. He always struck me as pretty knowledgeable. Did he turn to writing or being a motoring historian?
