Two participants had duplicate drivers in their guesses (one of them is your host  ), so these were discarded and resulted in rather low scores.

That's pretty tragic - cant you just keep the best of the duplicates and discard the other one, rather than (I assume you are saying) discarding the entire entry - I know what its like to miss a week and screw up all the "hard work" put in up to that point - I also tend to mix up Vett and Vers and I can easily see myself submitting either vett or vers twice by accident.

The rules are simple, no need to fix something which does not need fixing, if you mess up pay the price.

I think he has simply discarded the scores of the driver that were duplicated, which I think is fair. So the other 8 drivers are able to score points.
