Anaheim 1 is so close, I can taste it.  Here is RacerX's take on the second tier guys:

Woohoo! Can't wait for next Saturday

Gonna do my best to hype up this series on this board. It's incredibly entertaining and thrilling and it needs hype.

….and it needs hype.

If something actually needs hype to get attention, I'm underwhelmed. I watch for good racing, not bogus hype.

I'm a worse person than you and I tend to watch supercross in the hope that they'll get caught in a rain shower at a stadium without a roof.

Nothing like a bit of swampocross.

So just rewatched the Heat Races. Interesting how Anderson started to look back after getting dropped to 5th place in his heat race. Didn't expect that from the reigning champion. Was he ill or something?

Anyway solid racing in tough conditions. Wilson performed very well, even in his heat race without crazy metorological conditions. A rather weak performance by KTM Factory Racing however. Not sure if they really have a rider that is capable of winning a championship

Will be interesting to see what Barcia is able to do this season.

Happy for Bagget. Strong ride. Anderson v Roczen was intense but i guess it was ok. Smart from Roczen to not do the same to Musquin even when he had the oportunity to do so. Maybe too smart? Anyway this was the maximum Position for him after the Andersobn incident

Malcolm Stewart has a broken femur and will have surgery. Excited for Bagget.

I feel sorry for Stewart. He looked really fast this season. Lets hope he makes a full recovery. Damn

Needs to give Supercross a go, really. I've watched occasional MXGP races over the last year and quite enjoyed them although it did strike me that they weren't always exactly action packed after the race settles down. I've never really paid this kind of thing much attention but want to get into something new.

Have not been able to find decent rips of the races on youtube or anywhere sadly, always used to , but maybe Fox or whoever have been a bit more ruthless this year and deleting them!!

So Marvin breaks the rules but keeps the win. Here is an article that explains the rules as applied: https://racerxonline...musquin-penalty

Chad has 8 broken ribs, broken scapula and collapsed lung.
