Difficult without P2P and DRS, he's really doing a good job.

Curious to see tomorrow and then how the DTM cars fare in SuperGT environment.

I’m impressed how close it was between the cars everything considered. IMO it felt like DPi vs LMP2 close which for the first race with no BoP and one set of teams driving on a new track, with new tyres. That gets a thumbs up from me.

Appalling coverage. In 12 minutes I'm watching, zero gaps on screen. I fell inti the civerage, but I've no clue of gaps. Now ar 13.17 finallyban overview. But still no battles while other cars are close to each other.

If they're doing a DTM vs SuperGT I'd prefer to see it in a neutral geographical middle ground between Germany and Japan so there's no home advantage. Preferably in the actual geographical midway point of somewhere in the middle of Siberia.

This post made more sense as a joke in my head than typed out.

If you had a triangle with all the corners right angles on the sphere that is Earth and had Germany and Japan at two corners, the third would probably be somewhere in the US Midwest or towards the mountains. So use the closest good track to that and you'd get... Road America?

Hm. A 4-hour open-tire driver-change DTM vs GT500 vs DPi race? :clap: (ONE CAN DREAM, DAMN IT)

To be honest I'm surprised there isn't a a joint race at Bahrain, Abu Dhabi or Dubai, seeing as those usually pop up for these kind of things. But I guess that's where the money is, because it's not where the fans are.

Stick them on a vastly different tire to what they're used to, with little testing, and it's no surprise frankly.

I would be very shocked if it wasn't the case of everyone using their own tires, and the DTM cars not getting to use DRS. Which means that the advantages will swing back in the other direction as the Super GT cars will be on proper set-ups, with all the data, and the advantage of suiting the fuel used.
