Guys, the Nurburgring 1971 track came out today and contains the Südschleife, the Nordscleife and the combined circuit called the Gesamstrecke.

Its part of the Nurburgring DLC that was released already in November 2020.

The Südschleife is a circuit in its own right and has totally its own feel - its an old circuit even by 1971 standards.

The Nordscleife in 1971 is so much more open - the track was just safety upgraded then, there is much less tall trees, its all very open and you can enjoy views of the mountains. Its really smth else.

Here's the trailer of the track:

Also out are some classic F1 tracks (Montreal 1991, Interlagos 1991 & 1993, Barcelona 1991) as well as 1992 and 1993 F1 cars, incl the McLarens and faux Ferrari, Benetton, Williams models, complete with Launch Control, Active Suspension, Traction Control, ABS, DRS and minimal blown diffusers on applicable cars.

There's a myriad of other improvements and fixes as well:

What’s the big difference between Interlagos 1991 and 1993? AFAIK there wouldn’t be many.

Inwas watching GPLaps video from Barcelona. Looks like a really good single player experience now.

No big difference, just kerb height I think and a few other minor details. The owner and main developer is Brazilian, so that explains all the Senna love in the game.

Yeah they are. I think they do a good job of the Brazil Stockcars series as a default in the sim.

It's fully customisable. Just have to find a setting which suits you.
