If you couldn't get enough of 24-hour endurance racing last weekend at Le Mans there's more to come this weekend: it's time for the Nürburgring 24 hours!

Last year's race had to be red-flagged because of fog and heavy rain, so this year the race has been moved from May to June, and today's one and only free practice session had to be red-flagged because of heavy rain:

Live streaming of every session will be available in English (and some/most/all* in German) on the ADAC TOTAL 24h-Rennen Nürburgring channel on Youtube: https://www.youtube....7nsDsDEKKMc9bKA
And also on the Nürburgring channel on Youtube: https://www.youtube....TMQbtvHysTB9W0Q
Live radio in English will be available on Radio Le Mans: http://player.radiolemans.co/
* It seems that Top Qualifying and the Race will be live on German television (Nitro) and I don't know whether the English streams will be geoblocked in Germany.

Unfortunately, in best case I might be able just to see q1, as I am traveling this weekend. But still, the race will probably be great.

I won't be able to see the start, and night-time is often not that interesting around here for a tv audience, but this should be a good bit of racing on Sunday!

And in case anyone wonders... yes, it could go faster:

Scary incident as a bit of confusion led to cars being three-wide at pedestrian speed at the exit of Mutkurve.

There is a circuit map with marshal posts (LogNoB_006_Track_map) available at https://24h-information.de/24h/ which makes messages about "yellow flags at marshal post..." less confusing.

Yes, but there are some extra rules about driving time and off-time in case you jump between cars (for example, if they finish a stint in one car, they must have at least 2h off before going back out in the other car).

They really need to simplify these classes. I have no idea what any of them mean, its gibberish to casuals.

Reminiscent of a Lotus that did its best to burn down the first sector of the Nordschleife back in 2010.

Weather radar has what I'd call an enormous thunderstorm on it, but it's some distance away (100-200km maybe). Direction is towards the Nürburg area though.

Also Hindy mentioned on the broadcast; according to John Dagys (sportscar365.com), the next BMW GT3 will be an M4. Maybe they finally got tired of all the boat jokes.

A bunch of cars went off... Not a good race if you're either driving an Aston or a BMW.

How on Earth Kevin Estre can put underwear on is a mystery. That was a pass with two wheels on the grass, at the Nordscheife.

Coming to the kink of the Döttinger Höhe.

At 280 kph

However, according to Paul Truswell, Kévin Estre was doing no more than 277 km/h at the time.

I would think so. Both got out of their cars under their own power and there hasn't been any other update/news from the race's official Twitter account:

https://twitter.com/24hNBR?lang=fr

Adam Christodoulou just had contact with an Aston while leading. The #2 Mercedes may be out.
