I think so too KWSN.
2014 was pretty strong too, but mainly because of Ocon and Verstappen.
That 2015 line-up is probably the benchmark in terms of how much young talent you can get on a feeder series grid at the same time.

2004 had five future F1 drivers, including two WDC. Plus the likes of Duval, Spengler, Green, Lapierre, etc.

Didn't Felix Rosenqvist head to IndyCar?
What happened there?

We need a neat excel sheet for this :-)

Looks like he didn't have the funding to move into GP2, so he went to Indy Lights, then Formula E, some sportscars, and eventually landed a top seat in IndyCar where he's now racing full time for Ganassi. Not exactly a terrible outcome for his career.

Of my crew I see Leclerc and Russel as potential WDC's... I only referred to F1 drivers, so Duval, Lapierre, Spengler would not be on my list, however agree that 2004 and 2005 are in the conversation.

Please take Stroll out of the equation. His F1 place was bought, not on merit.

European F3 Champion not good enough? You have high standards, and point was and is 5 of 7 are currently racing in F1.

Yeah this was what I was coming in to say, that era was peak Euro F3. Although 2014-2015, remarkably an exact decade later, was another peak, definitely.
The 2005 field:
Lewis Hamilton (1st)
Sebastian Vettel (5th)
------
Adrian Sutil (2nd)
Lucas di Grassi (3rd)
Giedo van der Garde (9th)
Paul di Resta (10th)

Strongest European F3 field ever?
I give you 1979....although you could pick most years in the 1970s and 1980s with equal results.
Prost
Borgudd
Dallest
Baldi
Alboreto
Thackwell
Serra
Streiff
Boutsen
Gartner
Guerrero
who all entered F1 with varying degrees of success (WDC, GP winners, journeymen)
and Arie Luyendyk, who won a couple of Indy 500s.

That F3 championship is as good as Hamiltons 2014 Championship, except for the fact that Strolls teammates moved over.European F3 Champion not good enough? You have high standards, and point was and is 5 of 7 are currently racing in F1.
