Just navigated to the website on my laptop to find i've been logged out and I see this message telling me to log in again.

 

Is this legit? (I was playing around with a vpn earlier, so i'm worried i may have a virus or something)

 

I'm talking about the main Autosport site, not the forum.

Forgive me for just ruling out the very obvious but you're not trying to sign in like usual with your user names are you? Because this time it's asking you to sign in with your email address in the user name field.

 

Fwiw, it let me back in.

Nope, it even told me what e-mail to use. Which I did. And when my attempts to login failed, I clicked the option 'forgot password'. It then said it didn't recognize my e-mail address. 

 

I will try again, typing v-e-r-y slowly so it understands what I mean.

I’m having issues logging, too:

1. Couldn’t log in with my username, but e-mail worked;
2. New login screen was white only; re-loading the site without blockers showed a login block
3. Even though I’m logged in, I can’t see Autosport Plus content, although I’ve been a subscriber (albeit digital only) for at least a decade.

Has the new Autosport Plus subscription — of which I’ve received various e-mails, which I’ve all deleted, since I already am subscribed — perhaps effectively cancelled my old subscription?

I logged in without problem, hhmph, apart from the facts that 1. i'm now bombarded with the bloody pop up and 2. Classic has gone. If you must insist on doing this Autosport, at least make the home screen something that's not as hideous as the current abomination.

I am still unable to log in to the main site, I have just cleared cookies to no effect. When I try to sign in I just get white areas both on my main computer and my mobile device (Android)

 

I have had to become a new member, which I'm not, to enter the forum.

I have DNS ad blocking and ad blocking extensions in chrome once these were remove/disabled it worked - its pretty low for Autosport to be dumping ad cookies on bona fide customer machines as part of the logon process.

That is it and once logged in seems to be no ads, which it shouldn't be for a subscriber. Thanks for the clue I normally expect to be asked to turn the blocker off.

Glad that is back, I live in Spain, no on line coverage no Autosport. I have yet to find hard copy.

I've been accessing via Kindle since this so called upgrade. No overall change apart from the pop ups. This morning accessed via PC's, one Windows 7 Firefox Quantum, the other, Windows 10 also using Firefox Quantum. Neither work as they did before. I am getting ads on both machines in the fora, yet I have an Autosport+ account with digital magazine. Explain please, why I should continue paying £138.00 p.a. and still be receiving ads. The pop ups continue on both machines and neither are showing the main site in full width screen.Can you people get anything right?

The iPhone app does not work anymore. Just a white screen with no login capability as others have reported. I can get on Autosport through my browser on the iPhone.

I'm experiencing the same Rob. It's bloody awful and not something that I will continue paying £138pa for. Maybe that's what they're trying to achieve. I've written to them tonight using their contact form but I can see this being a new policy. If so, they can stick it!

Fairly confident they're going to argue that the ad free environment does not extend to the fora any longer. I won't be renewing in June on that basis.

This is still the case, and to make things a wee bit bizarre, the app seems to have now dissapeared from the Apple app store so I cannot check for an update (or leave feedback  )

As yet, I have not been afforded the courtesy of a reply. Nothing unusual in Autosport land. Nevertheless, I have, with a lot of playing, got the forum running and appearing as previously in both Windows 7 and Windows 10. The Kindle Fire tablet though, still produces the most horrendous experience which negates it's usage hereabouts.

Yesterday I was signed out automatically from Autosport Plus and Forums, I was able to sign back in to the latter but cannot sign back in to Autosport plus, Just get a picture background with a white patch and endlessly spinning 'login in progress'

I gave up. I unblocked all the functional stuff used by the site to validate users (tinypass, typekit) but these systems obviously have deeper level connections not immediately apparent and Im not going to disable all  my system protection to access one website. Subscription cancelled.

I still can't log in on the Android app, there was a banner saying you wouldn't be able to for a couple of days but it disappeared.

I just clicked an Autosport Plus article on the Android app and despite 'Sign-In' being displayed in the corner I can read the article, I can also navigate to other Autosport Plus articles by clicking the 'Autosport Plus' banner at the top of an article on the home page - the middle option at the bottom of the app is still 'Subscribe'.

It seems that when you use 'Sign-in' and it gets to the white screen you are logged in but the front end isn't updated.

 

When you click the  'Autosport Plus' banner at the top of article that isn't on the home page it takes you to the 'Subscribe' message.

Has the update made Autosport disappear from the iOS news app? I use to be able to see Autosport articles on my iPhone and MacBook via the news app, but this has completely disappeared now?

I just missed out on cancelling the subscription as I got the email on the 13th.
