Whether or not we have a partial season this year (I'm beginning to err on not myself), what do you think of the use of the 2020 chassis next year? It has been a long time since a team used last years Chassis in any races let alone a full season (McLaren with the 17D in 03 is the last I can remember at that wasn't intentional)? Clearly a sensible move for the smaller teams and if we did end up with 10-12 races these designs will do over 30 races and become the most mature designs in F1 history with nearly 2 years of development likely (I'm sure that now that has been announced Merc/Fezza and RB will continue to develop the cars even if they don't fun until next season's Feb tests). This could expand the gap between the big 3 and the rest who will have to wait to see what income they are getting before developing further while the big 3 may go all out once the freeze ends next month.
