If things keep up like this it could be a good day to score some points for the backmarkers.

Frentzen was nearly out.
#110
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:18
Great save from Frentzen! Katayama out. 15 runners left.
#111
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:18
I forget where I read this but weren't the Goodyear wet tyres really, really hard when it was a control tyre? Hill is about 30 seconds off the dry pace.

Has Schumacher switched cars? He looks like he is now driving a McLaren?
#113
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:19
How the hell did Rosset enter that shot already going backwards?

Has Schumacher regenerated into DC's McLaren?

Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:20
Frentzen vs Irvine is like the drunk version of Mansell vs Senna.
#117
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:20
Oh McLaren have revived their little wing on the engine cover.
#118
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:20

I love how Murray Walker's voice drops an octave when he starts talking about Graham Hill
#121
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:22
Please don't jinx it Murray.

Fun Fact: Coulthard borrowed Schumachers helmet on that weekend

"There is a good dry line in the tunnel, unsurprisingly as it has a roof" Classic Murray!!

Edit: Panis past Brundle at the back of the queue.
#130
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:24
I remember Diniz being pushed but don't recall seeing the car being craned so Finnish TV must have gone to ads immediately after his DNF.

Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:25
Hey, has Panis made it round Brundle?
#136
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:25
Can't believe Diniz is out. He was my dark horse for the race. Oh well. Hill has this now. if something happens to him, then I can see a midfielder winning. Gonna pick Berger to win.
#137
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:25
Did Panis just find a way past Brundle there?

Watching these races is what it must be like being psychic. Tremble, gentle drivers, for I know your sporting futures.
#144
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:28
The train is spreading out a bit now. I wouldn't say Irvine is holding them all up any more.
#145
Posted 04 April 2020 - 14:28
It will be two-hour race so teams may have to guess the number of laps remaining.
#146
