As an aussie this is great news 1 am finishes ( or later if there was a red flag) certainly made my Monday mornings a lot harder.

Suits me better this way (that they're going back to)

More time to go to the beach afterwards during the summer races. :p

I don't like this. This means I can't have a quiet lunch with my family.

Reading the article, it seems that losing the 10 minutes is much more certain than changing the hour.

"Formula 1 plans to reinstate the practice of starting races on the hour this year, RaceFans has learned."

"In a further change which will also be discussed, Formula 1 may also bring the start times for European races forward by an hour. Most European races began at 3:10pm local time last year; this year’s races could therefore start at 2pm instead."

Don't get too excited just yet.

Thank heavens. I never got used to it, and - as much as I love F1 - I was fed up of letting it take up my whole Sunday afternoon. I am less like to have to record races now.

You don’t have beaches, you have seasides with small stones. 😉
I’m stirring!

I was struggling with the 11:10 pm starts in Aus so I'm very happy about this.

With more races back-to-back, finishing earlier means the teamsters can be on their way sooner too. And if you are at a track, you'll be in time from the track to grab a nice dinner somewhere off track. It is threatening to make too much sense for F1.

The 2310 starts here in Melbourne were a nightmare. Wouldn't get to bed before 0100-0130, waking up at 0600 Monday morning to go to work was painful.

The extra hour and ten makes it manageable.

Great news! I much preferred the earlier start time. This leaves more of the day free for other things.

I can't wait for F1 to re-start. Bring it on!  :)
