I have to come out in defence of Tsunoda, in what I can only call vitriol in response to some pretty tame radio messages and an even tamer couple of post-quali interviews.
To see words like "brat", "petulant", "entitled", "b***end" thrown around completely belie what I am seeing and hearing. I think it is a gross exaggeration and overall a complete misrepresentation.
All I see is a young rookie driver frustrated at his results and struggling to understand how to extract everything from the car. Perfectly normal F1 driver behaviour that doesn't escape even the very best from time to time.
Tsunoda even said ahead of the weekend that the feedback he gives is totally different to Gasly, which is making it very hard to diagnose his issues.
FP3 Team Radio - why his engineer tells him to "calm down" I have no idea, he sounds very calm. FOM played this out on the world feed.
Q1 Team Radio - totally natural reaction, normal F1 driver stuff. Again broadcast on the world feed.

I don't hear an angry driver, I hear an upset driver who is struggling to come to terms with his results.
This sudden "Tsunoda said he has a different car" narrative is pure fiction. His words are being picked apart without trying to understand the meaning behind them. Tsunoda has, by far, the worst command of English of any driver on the grid, which is contributing to these tetchy interviews and flashy headlines, and yet none of the professional media seems to be taking this into account.
I hate to say it but I can't help but feel there's some really strange stereotyping going on with the "little Japanese guy" (to quote Red5ive from a few posts earlier) and I don't like it at all.
In my eyes, he did absolutely nothing wrong yesterday (other than fail to make Q2) but a story has been made out of thin air for clicks and drama, forcing him to release a public apology which only vindicates those who were erroneously criticising him.
