Just recommended to me by Historic racer Jason Wright. One-make racing with a wonderful difference.

Absolutely cracking lovely Put a smile on my face that last the full seven and a half minutes! And the detail, amazing... apart from the reflections on the surfaces, even the propellors kept rotating!
Thnx, Doug

No riding mechanics?
How can anyone not love the totally tonto C6?

That's wonderful - but surely most of that gridful must be replicas... or are they continuation models...?
(And has someone been cloning reg numbers?)

It's good to see these digital replicas on action - I'm hearing that a lot of Jaguars have had to be deleted...

It works better if you go into the youtube video settings and change the playback speed to 2.

A few gear changes to offset the drone would help

Difficult to see a whole lap in any of the clips but playback speed 2 seems to bring lap times down to F1 levels!?
1.25 seems a better option if one is after the most realistic racing, I agree the the std. playback speed made it look a bit too sedate.

You wait until Chapman invents the monocoque, then they'll get faster...............

Or Ben Bowly is asked to update it, based on his experiences with the DeltaWing......

Do I recognize Lauda, Rindt and Pescarolo?

Time keepers must have had a ball completing the lap chart with the #5 filling all the places from 1st to last every lap ;-)

Err - I definitely see a No 10, and a No 17 amongst all those No 5s...

Formula Voisin. How about it?

Indeed not so obvious on the mobile screen, a little more so on a lap top

Must be a team race - all red helmet drivers are #5 - green #10; white #15; silver #'17.

Youtube video creator "GPLaps" has driven races in all the 1923 ACF GP cars that have so far been rendered for the Assetto Corsa simulator by 'modders' - the Bugatti T32, Voisin, Fiat and Sunbeam. From memory he said that the Fiat appeared the quickest, the Bugatti the worst-handling and the Voisin the slowest on the straights. Does that sound close to the real-world performance of the cars at Tours?

In this first video, he races the Sunbeam, Voisin and Bugatti against a grid driven by 'A.I.' (Artificial Intelligence) drivers. In the second, he tries the newly-released Fiat mod.
