I don’t think I’ve seen a technical thread on here for the new cars? Just want to share a few videos between Peter Windsor and Scarbs who do a quick run through on their expectations from the new aero package.
Interested to see what will be done around the nose cone as it’s one of the few open areas that designers can play around with at the front.

Initial estimates were for the cars to be several seconds per lap slower than current cars, but now that seems to have been reduced to around a half second slower.
Am interested to see if the drag is less and the top speeds are raised.

Do we know what kind of design ideas could be carried over to the 2022 cars? e.g. is rake still an important concept given the new floor rules?
