Berger will be proud for sure....
This reminded me of the story of when they both crashed Todt’s car 😅

Who has never thrown an explosive device into the workplace of a person who is currently in litigation with your family, as an obviously hilarious harmless prank between good mates, shall throw the first stone.
Must be a Sicilian negotiation tactic.

Is there a reason this doesn't seem to be getting much attention in actual motorsport press? Not enough of a story yet? I know one publication where the editor probably thinks they are chums and wouldn't want to embarrass him.

What career?
The one that just went into full speed in Japan. He's being promoted to Toyota's top team in both Super Formula and Super GT. Its as good as its going to get in Japan's racing scene.
Giuliano Alesi has been promoted to a full-time seat with Toyota’s flagship TOM’S outfit for the 2022 Super Formula season.

Giuliano Alesi has described the chance to drive for the title-winning TOM’S Toyota team in SUPER GT next year as “surreal”.

If I had to guess: everyone loves Jean and they want to give him the benefit of a doubt.

That doesn't seem to be featured on their website, though you can search for it. Nor in print as of today.

On the front page for me, although it's now slipped from second to fifth in the second World section. Might be in tomorrow's print edition, as it's timestamped 11.05am today.

Ah I see it now, I looked in news and sport. I figured it was just being dwarfed by the priority story that Emma Raducanu has another endorsement deal.

The 'firecracker' damaged armoured glass? Some firework!
And now it looks like Jacques is part of it as well:- "Villeneuve lies across the River Rhône from Avignon, where the driver lives."

At least he didn't pull a classic "firecrackers in the anus" prank on his brother-in-law. Would have sent him over to the moon. Never go full Eric Cartman.

Sounds more like an attempt at intimidation rather than a prank.
Around these parts that could get someone a menacing charge. That is if the homeowner didn’t return fire and kill him. Seriously.

The 'firecracker' damaged armoured glass?
When I turned 18, I had to choose between becoming an architect (what I really wanted) and an engineer (where the money was). I went for the money.
Now that I learn that architects work behind armored glass, I no longer regret that choice
Joking aside, with the details we know now, this was attempted ‘fire-starting at night’ (or whatever it is called in proper legalese). Which for entirely evident reasons is quite the aggravating circumstance.

They don't know because it has blown up!
Sounds a bit more hard core than just a firework though.
