The founder and life-blood of SprintCar & Midget magazine passed away a few months ago.

He was the life blood of a magazine which he sold controlling interests to a short time back but he was still the big Kahuna there.

 

I just got a letter from that magazine saying that SC & M would be now printed as a two magazine format; i.e. SC & M would be one half and SPEEDSPORT, an off-shoot of Chris Economaki's old rag, which I did not even know existed, would be the other half , two covers,  with other items related to that change.

One was the life of the magazine is not guaranteed.

 

Sad , very, very sad.

Apologies for being flippant but when I saw the title I was concerned that when the time comes to move my magazine collection from the loft I’m going to find not yellowed pages but considerably less of them than when I boxed them up!
