I'm so sorry, I think I'm stuck in David Croft mode after trying to predict which Miami pop culture references he would crowbar in this weekend. Anyway, so here we are, going to Miami and what have we learned? Well, that the track has definitely caught a lot of attention thanks to the determined approach the organisers took to being denied permission to build a track around the bay, no problem they just built their own marina...and their own water:
I'm going to level with you, I think the fake water is quite clever and that the whole thing is pretty funny in a good way. Less smile generating is the track itself, already seeing a huge hit which ruled Ocon out of qualifying. Fingers crossed for the race because nothing's going to change ahead of the race. In quali itself, this is how the drivers ended up:
No sprint race, just fast laps and Leclerc starting on pole.
