She's back as a regular host of the BBC's F1 podcast and you can hear her speech improving each episode, she's back to sounding like her old self with maybe a tiny hiccup here or there. Really happy she's been able to recover, cannot imagine how scary it must have been for both her and her husband who found her after having the stroke.

Cheers to this!

The most significant improvement in physical performance takes place in the first 6 months. There after, it slows.  I am about 1.5 years post stroke and I still have tiny balance challenges occasionally.  I'm back to my grad school weight (208)  and body composition @ 6 feet tall (I'm a knuckle dragger) with a goal of getting back to my boxing weight of 187 lbs.  I watch my BP like a hawk, I exercise daily and my diet is impeccable.  My main change, however, is this:  I don't let stress bother me.  When I'm tired, I stop. Further, I now work an abbreviated schedule...MWF for formal meetings with T-Th for a call or 2 and nothing else.

Again, I enjoin everyone to see their medical practitioner of choice for an annual check-up.  And as I'm making 60 this year and want to age gracefully, I've been pumping iron since Feb 2023 and suggest everyone add muscle to their body.  I have always been strong but the added muscle in the past year has been a game changer.  This isn't about vanity (though it makes you look better) but, rather, having the addition lean tissue to support you and the improvement of your skeletal structure.

Good luck to Jennie and everyone.  I wish you all good health!!
