In 1/43 scale, Bang made a Maserati 450S labeled as 1957 and driven by Carroll Shelby at Riverside. Problem is, I can’t find any photos from either the 1957 September or November races that look like it. I’ve even watch videos of both races and don’t see it. Anyone recognize if it’s a correct representation of an actual raced car? Has yellow numbered and a yellow band on the hood.

Try this website about John Edgar, the owner of the 450S, Chaparel. There are black and white pictures of it at Riverside in November '57, with Shelby at the wheel.

There may be more pictures than I spotted and it's a fascinating website anyway. If I recall, Edgar later fitted the Maserati engine to his Ferrari chassis - a case of taking the weaker part of each car and combining them!
