Cool. Now who pays for it?…
We are paying for F1 multiple times over. F1s provlem isnt that it cant afford things that are costly. Its problem is that its being pumped for cash and each new owner has a higher and higher expectation for return.

I'd even be happy with just the cameras and no commentary.

Come up with a standard launch date. Everyone launches together. Proceed to test together.

Not that I care too much about this either way, but I'm surprised that Liberty haven't organised some form of launch event at Bahrain a couple of days before testing. Teams introduced in reverse championship order. I'd be far more likely to watch this than any of the current launch events (I literally just look at a picture of the car and move on).
Maybe the teams would be against it as there's less spotlight on them? What would be stopping a livery reveal beforehand anyway?
Probably a bit of a pain for something that doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. The last couple of years I've even grown to be not bothered about testing either.

Never pay for stuff you don't need to, unless you personally benefit (that's F1 thinking)

What's the point? All cars nowadays look virtually as one and certainly no different from the previous seasons offerings, its not even as thought the colur scheme changes that much either, the cars are almost identical.
Gone are the days of the 70s/80s - will a car have 2 wheels at the front or 4? will it have 4 at the back? will it have fans? will it have skirts? I'm sorry but the rule book now has become so prohibitive to designers that they may as well be running spec series cars. The modifications that are allowed become less and less each year and the worst part? It has all been done by one fo the greatest innovators in car design of recent times - Ross Brawn.

Bumping my old thread because of the this new rumour:
Italian FuoriTraiettoria reports that Liberty Media is considering a plan to jointly present all team launches from 2025.
There are rumors that Liberty Media wants to organize this in the O2 Arena in London, on February 18, 2025. That is a little more than a week before the test days in Bahrain. A decision will be made around the Brazilian Grand Prix in November.
The sounds in the rumor mill say that the small teams do not think it is such a solid plan, because the attention during a joint presentation will probably only go to the big teams.

And only week before Bahrain test. More terrible logistics.
Anyway. Will Justin Timberlake present the cars and will Will Buxton present himself?

Would it not be best to arrange a pre test launch in Bahrain with an introduction to the car main team personnel and drivers.
15 mins per team launch and a quick Q and A.
The main issue is some Sky F1 presenter will ask something stupid like. Did you have a good holiday or some other non F1 Bs.
I am all for a group launch but it has to be done right. Instead of feelings lets talk about the cars, tech. Etc.

You need glasses, or a bigger TV. The '24 RBR, Ferrari & Mercedes are quite different to their '23 cars. There are clear differences amongst all the cars beyond the colours. Why complain about not having something one is oblivious to anyways?

Nah, you need to look at the bigger picture. They are all, essentially, the same.

I actually think a singular launch event would be awesome, even if just for a livery reveal over last years cars.
Imagine them all lined up, reverse standings reveal one by one. 10 mins each. Kinda a glorified F1 TV intro. Cue the live band.
I mean it beats watching and waiting on every other teams stupid pre launch graphic videos that flicker a bit of colour, a load of nonsense power words over animated blueprints and faux excitement, followed by a staggered slow pull of cloth as Yuki can barely reach over the tyres.
Or the mega hype and preview hint of a black Ferrari rear wing and then it's the same old.
I'm for it. Try it.

It's an excellent idea. Just the one single event that I need to ignore, instead of having to avoid ten sperate pointless PR-fests.

Erm… Would it not all require the same effort from you? Or lack of…
