I went to the meeting, although this appears to be practice day. Some familiar faces and cars - John Miles, Roy Pike, the Sid Taylor Lola 70 with Frank Gardner driving, a Fraser Imp, and many more.

If I may pick a nit (we all need hobbies), one of the videos is labelled as the 1969 BOAC 500kms. Wasn't the race called the BOAC 500 (meaning 500 miles) though it was actually 6 hours?

Regarding the 1968 Guards Trophy; one event I would have liked to be at. September 2nd 1968 and a round of the British Saloon Car Championship. The recently deceased Roy Pierpoint won in his Ford Falcon, beaten soundly a week before at Jyllandsringen in Denmark by Sven Engstrøm in his champiomship winning Porsche 911S. A Lola T70 beating Ford GT40s and Formula 3s. What was the ticket price for the race for such audiable and visualbe pleasures?

Here's one for you Jesper.. This looks like the first lap at Druid's and Pierpoint is already leading from the second row of the grid. The Alan Mann escort in 2nd is Jackie Oliver with the 2231cc s/c Escort, Frank Gardner in the 1600 car.
