Thank you for your interest in my proposed participation. My review of all relevant data leads me to sadly admit several inconvenient but no less inescapable conclusions:
1. My participation would not, in and of itself, provide value to the Championship.
2. The most significant way in which one, such as I, would bring value is by being competitive, in particular by rooting for a team "competing for podiums and race wins." As my favorite team, which I have loyally followed since the 1980's, has not shown any inclination of late to venture that far forward in the field, it appears my participation is a luxury, not a necessity, and may even be actively harmful to the goals of this enterprise.
3. The fact that I persist in following this team gives the powers-that-be reason to question my "understanding of the scope of the challenge involved."
4. My team does not produce its own PU supply, casting doubt on its chances to obtain podiums and race wins. If you can't be a competitive participant, why bother?
5. In fact, given the tremendous hurdles my team faces, it could be said that my participation is, arguably, irretrievably "damaging to the prestige and standing of the Championship."
6. It requires little, in fact, no research to safely conclude "that F1 would bring value to the [red stick] brand rather than the other way around."
7. I fear the risk that my participation "would place an operational burden on race promoters, would subject some of them to significant costs, and would reduce the technical, operational and commercial spaces of the other [participants]."
8. I cannot identify, and indeed, cannot plausibly claim, that my participation would have "any material expected positive effect," beyond what attempt at "witty banter" may or may not be found in this post.
9. I reserve the right to reconsider following some decent interval. Perhaps 2028?
