This concept of Guilty Pleasures is one that I’ve only encountered in Britain.* (needs H0R to tell us if Germans have a denial of pleasure syndrome … but going by the ones I know… they do not.)

Pleasure is good and should not be in any way correlated to guilt. Unless you are self-hating and in some kind of depressive denial of positive feelings or attainment.
