Good morning

Let me share with you my dilemma. As some of you may know I am the editor of Rare & Unique Vehicles, a quarterly classic car magazine. Every issue features a certain theme. Our next one is Family.

One of our article ideas concerns the Playford family. Dad, Jack Playford was a mechanic at Fox & Nicholl and part of a winning Talbot team in the 1930s. One of his sons, Brian Playford went on to become a succesful racer on his own right and built an MG-based special.

So I have an overview of a potentially great article, but I would need experts who can help me fill out the biographical blanks, help me find great photos (I tried the Coventry Archives for some old Talbot images to no avail. Next stop will be Beaulieu).

Can someone help please?

Thank you!
Do you know how could I find the family?

Thanks

Jack's son, Brian Peter Wyness Playford (b. September 1934), could well be still alive.

192.com gives an address in South Croydon, Surrey (maybe 120 Purley Oaks Road, South Croydon, Surrey, CR2 0NS).
