Hi, could anyone help with the following, for the past few years i've been trying to catgaloge all the race winners and championship standings from the major British road racing champioships (1958-2023).
Two that have so far stumped me are the 1970 and 1976 Shellsport 500 championships. This is not to be confused with the main ACU 500cc British Championship. The Shell series began in 1970 and ran up to 1985.
Through various sources i've managed to list all the other years, Motocourse didn't cover the 76 series.
If anyone could help with the winners from each round (plus winning manufacturer) and the top 3 in points it would be appreciated.
I know Peter Williams won in 1970 and Sheene in 1976.
