Due to this site https://www.ilsos.go...l/deathsrch.jsp being unavailable to non-US servers, would an American member of TNF be so kind as to check if Joseph Bonadeo is included in the newly uploaded 1972 page?

https://www.oldracin.../Joseph_Bonadeo

If he is, then it would solve a mystery that has bugged me for two decades. All I need is the date of death.

This is on the presumption he did die in Illinois, of course.

Thanks in advance.

Richard,

You've probably seen this, but, Findagrave backs the Illinois location:

https://www.findagra...iuseppe-bonadeo

The Social Security Death Index also gives the same DOB and Oct. 72 for death.

Find a Grave has just copied other info out there so it's not cast-iron unfortunately. It's a frustration that I can't go on that myself and try a few alternatives to see if he is on Illinois DI.

Oh, I realize that, but in this case they have it the same as the U.S. Social Security Index, which does list him as dying in Des Plaines, Illinois, so there's that.

Found his date of death.

Born:  December 24, 1896

Died:  October 1, 1972  (Des Plaines, Cook County, Illinois)

So the 1st of October it is.

PS: since we now know his date of death, I've now just entered that date in the driver database.

Hi William, where was this from?

Be careful as a lot of sites just put the 1st as default when they have a gap because of database restrictions. (Ie a number has to go in)

It could well be the first, but depends.on the source.

So, it appears we don't have a source for this date, then. Can someone with access to driver database delete the entry again, so that the false info does not spread?
