Can anyone assist, please, with a list of the races that comprised the 1966 F875 Monza calendar?

The old Monza yearbooks helpfully provided a listing of all races at the Autodrome, but the last of these covers the 1965 season.

I have identified the following "definite" races in 1966 (all took place at Monza, of course);

3 March - Coppa Federauto

25 April - Coppa Autodromo

21 May - Trofeo Vigorelli

26 June - GP Lotteria

It's possible that F875 Monza races were also included on the programme for the following:

4 September - Italian GP weekend

18 September - Coppa Autodromo

9 October - GP FISA

I'm pretty certain there will have been others than those I know of -  the 1965 season comprised 10 races, as a barometer.

Unfortunately, the F875 website and FaceBook page don't have this information and I have drawn a blank on magazine indices.

Thanks for any and all help, as ever!

Formula Monza races were usually stand-alone events on Thursday evenings, at least that was the case in the seventies. I have no info on races in the sixties, but the following 'definite' dates:

1970 5-7 Thu
1970 5-14 Thu
1970 5-28 Thu
1970 6-4 Thu
1972 9-14 Thu
1974 9-12 Thu
1975 5-1 Thu
1975 5-8 Thu
1975 5-22 Thu
1975 5-29 Thu
1975 6-12 Thu
1975 6-19 Thu
1975 7-3 Thu
1975 9-7 Sun
1975 9-18 Thu
1976 7-1 Thu
1976 9-2 Thu
1978 9-5 Tue

It's a full schedule for 1970, btw, the year Lella won the series!  :)  (though I have results for only three of those :( )

Oh, wait! I am mixing up things!

Lella won the Formula 850 series in 1970, for which I have the following dates:

1970 3-30 Mon
1970 5-3 Sun
1970 5-7 Thu
1970 5-17 Sun
1970 5-24 Sun
1970 5-28 Thu
1970 6-7 Sun
1970 6-21 Sun
1970 7-5 Sun
1970 9-20 Sun

All races in Monza. She also competed in at least one race in 1971 (which she won), but I'm less sure of the schedule:

1971 3-7 Sun Monza
1971 4-12 Mon Vallelunga
1971 5-1 Sat Imola
1971 5-30 Sun Monza
1971 6-10 Thu Imola
1971 6-13 Sun Vallelunga
1971 7-27 Tue Imola
1971 10-10 Sun Vallelunga
1971 11-4 Thu Vallelunga

(She won the penultimate round)

Thanks Michael.

However, Lella's championship win in 1970 was actually in F850, rather than in F875 Monza. I've got a full listing of those results and their back story. F.Monza in 1965-1966 is, unfortunately, another story!

EDIT - Sorry - I see our posts have crossed!

I am pretty certain I have a full list of everything Lella contested after 1970 (and there's some pretty eclectic stuff in there!) and have almost got 1967-1969 nailed down. 1965-1966 are partially complete, but this is driving my completist tendencies a bit bananas!!

A bit of searching found this (suspect!) schedule for Formula Monza in 1969:

1969 5-8 Thu
1969 5-15 Thu
1969 5-22 Thu
1969 6-5 Thu
1969 6-12 Thu
1969 6-26 Thu
1969 7-3 Thu
1969 8-28 Thu
1969 9-6 Sat
1969 9-13 Sat

Again, mostly Thursdays! I don't think the FMonzas raced at meetings with 'proper' cars, I think they used the short circuit exclusively.

Hi Michael

It was always the pista junior. You’re correct that from 1967 onwards (and some of 1966) the F.Monza cars usually raced on Thursday evenings. Often under floodlights. Thursday evening was chosen to allow its contestants to finish their day jobs and studies, and to allow the fans the chance to see races without disturbing other weekend priorities like football and family!

We are getting tantalisingly closer to the 1966 year I’m looking for …

I’m hesitant to ask about some results in 1965 that are proving elusive!
